Heartmoves Licensing

Heart Foundation Heartmoves is a licensed program offering the opportunity to deliver a safe, established and well respected physical activity program within your fitness centre or community venue. It is a low cost licence designed to maintain the integrity of the Heartmoves program, provide quality control and guarantee the long term sustainability of Heartmoves in the future.

Being a Heart Foundation Heartmoves Licensee also allows you access to the website's members' only area where you can download up to date marketing material and information reserved only for our licensees. There are many other benefits to becoming a Heartmoves licensee including:

  • your name and details in our new "locate a program" system
  • access to Heart Foundation and Heartmoves branded material
  • ability to use Heart Foundation contacts for media releases
  • opportunity to use Heart Foundation branding in your centre
  • opportunity to use Heart Foundation branding in your marketing material
  • assistance to help you launch and grow your program

Fitness centres that host Heartmoves branded programs pay a licence fee. An accredited Heartmoves leader is able to teach Heartmoves branded classes within the licensed centre provided they meet the teaching criteria set down by that fitness centre, at no cost to the leader. The licence fee payable by the fitness centre is the same, regardless of the number of classes on the timetable, or the number of Heartmoves accredited leaders - it can be 1 or 50.

Freelance Leaders can teach Heartmoves branded programs within as many recreational community centres as they choose. Please note that for a freelance leader it is the leader who is licensed, not the individual location, therefore the licence fee is paid only once.
